• We're open Monday-Friday from 8 to 6, Saturday from 9 to 5, (closed Sunday) by appointment only. Text (831) 387-9401 for same day availability.
• Sessions typically last 40 minutes, Then there's the undressing and dressing. Plan on an hour.
• The building address is 540 Soquel Avenue, Santa Cruz and is located on the corner of Soquel Avenue and Ocean View Avenue. We recommend parking on Ocean View Avenue. Enter the building by KNOCKING or RINGING the doorbell at the RED DOOR at the side of the building ON OCEAN VIEW AVENUE.
• Come to your visit well-hydrated and hydrate after your treatment.
• We recommend showering before your treatment (keep your body free of lotions and oils) for better light penetration.
• We will provide you a special towel for the beds. These towels are available for purchase for $35 if you desire to have your own.
• Cleanse your face of sunscreen when you arrive, it allows for deeper light penetration. There are cleansers and serums in the bathroom to enhance your treatment. There is SPF to reapply after as you re-emerge into your day.
• Headphones are allowed, relaxation is a must.

• The LightStim beds are made of over 18,000 LED diodes (630 red, 660 dark red, 855 infrared, and 940 near infrared wavelengths) covered in 1/4” of special acrylic glass. This allows the diodes to be as close to the skin as possible to maximize penetration. It also is a hard surface, not really built for comfort. Wish it was pillowy, it's not.
• You will undress completely (naked) and begin laying face up (or face down) on the acrylic surface and cover your body with the special LightStim towel. It is wonderfully warm. 
• After you are covered with your towel, one of our technicians will enter your room to place the Propanel (with 1,400 diodes) on your face or body and start the timer for your session. While on your back, we provide goggles for you to wear, which can also be purchased for $10. 
• At the halfway point in your treatment time, the bed will dim. One of our technicians will enter your room and move the Propanel away. You will turn over on the bed and cover yourself with your towel. We will replace the Propanel on any area that might need some extra circulation (injury or soreness, face, liver, shoulder, back, knee etc.). 
• Most often people feel uplifted by the treatment. 
• Even though our beds are an FDA Cleared medical device, LightStim® and Santa Cruz Light Therapy are not meant to diagnose and medically treat illnesses. If you are in need of medical attention, please consult with your physician or health care provider. 

Cancellation Policy:
Appointments canceled at least 24 hours in advance will not incur a fee. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment time ("late cancellations") will be subject to a $25 cancellation fee and forfeiting of the session. Thank you for your consideration and understanding.

We offer state of the art, FDA Cleared Medical Grade LightStim LED Red and Infrared Light Therapy sessions. We also have a Hypervibe available for after your treatments. Ask the technician for further information.

Some HSAs are accepted, but not all. The Medicare code for Infrared Light Therapy is "#97026, covering infrared light therapy which can help in pain relief, joint mobility, circulation, and healing", aligning exactly with our FDA clearance. We recommend checking with your doctor and insurance provider. The more people who submit claims to insurance and consult their doctors, the faster we can work toward broader coverage for this effective, proven therapy.
